Biplab Kumar Deb, chief minister of India’s Tripura state, on Saturday said he has submitted his resignation to Governor of the state.
The leader of India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) decided to resign from the post after holding meeting with BJP’s top leaders Amit Shah and JP Nadda on Thursday.
According to NDTV report, the resignation follows reports of infighting within the BJP's state unit.
