The 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is frustrating for the Bangladeshi cricket fans as both of our players Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman are sidelined. This IPL has really turned out to be a great and exciting contest and I fail to understand why the Hyderabad Sunrisers are not fielding its star performer of the last season. Many cricket experts have also expressed their surprise over non-inclusion of Mustafizur Rahman who played a big role in helping his team to win the title for the first time and achieved the best emerging player award at the 9th IPL by taking 17 wickets in 16 matches.
Such a lay-off may be of great help to both the players for the upcoming tri-nation series involving New Zealand and Ireland. We wish best of luck to both Shakib and Mustafiz for the tri-nation series.
