Climate change

CLIMATE change is a growing threat for the people of the world. The negative effect of climate change is dangerous. It seriously affects agricultural production and livelihood, especially of the poor. Oxford Dictionary defines climate change as "changes in the earth weather".
The impact of climate change includes rise in temperature, greenhouse and carbon dioxide gas emissions, erratic rainfall, salinity intrusion, floods, cyclones, storm surges and draught, ice sheets melting etc. One of the most important causes of climate change is the ongoing unlimited burning of fossil fuels. This fossil fuel releases CO2 in the atmosphere and makes the earth warmer. It damages agricultural production and agricultural productivity will decline with serious implications for food security. The first world countries do not stop carbon emission for their industries. Developing countries like that of ours face many serious problems due to climate change and millions of low-income people will be at the risk of hunger and poverty in the near future.
