Birthday wish for Nayok Raj Razzak

THE widely acclaimed and admired movie personality Razzak is celebrating his 76th  birth anniversary. Razzak is a legendary figure of Bangladeshi cinema who dominated our film industry for more than three decades with his exquisite acting genius. His fans lovingly call him " Nayak Raj Razzak". During his time Bangla cinema was passing through its golden era. I remember as a young movie watcher I enjoyed watching his numerous movies during early eighties of the last century. He mesmerised us with his natural acting skills and most of the movies starred by him guaranteed a good return on the producers' money. Razzak made his debut in 1966 through Behula directed by Zahir Raihan and since then never looked back.  He acted in more than 300 movies in his illustrious career. He also directed 16 movies and many of them were blockbusters. Razzak and Kobori paired as the most romantic lovers of Bangladeshi cinema. I still watch his old movies' in YouTube. We do not see an actor of Razzak's stature in our movie industry today. I wish him all the best on his birthday and pray to the almighty for his continued good health and prosperity.
