An uneven task

WE cannot do many things due to lack of attention or shortage of time. One should try and do whatever he or she really wants to do. But that should be positive and meaningful. For example, the young children cannot see the world well with their young and innocent eyes. It is painful that we keep them busy otherwise.
We know all parents today press their children hard to do well in exams, but there are so many exams and so much to study that children are unable to bear the burden. Many students suffer from anxiety and depression to fulfil the dreams of their parents. Our Primary School Certificate examination is a crucial example in this regard. At the very beginning of their student life, children are being pressurized to compete with hundreds of thousands of students and do better results in Primary School Certificate examination without taking into consideration of their age and ability.
I strongly feel that the Primary School Certificate examination should be abolished to allow children grow up in an easy and comfortable environment. Let children grow and soon they will be able to take further load on them and embark on a more difficult and strenuous jobs. Meanwhile parents should also not put them under pressure for doing things which they can accomplish very well later. Excessive pressure of study will do them more harm than good as have been revealed by several studies.
I would request the authorities concerned to take the matter into active consideration and reduce the number of examinations so that the system suits young minds.
