A three-day international tourism fair 'Chittagong Travel Mart 2019' begins in the port city of Chattogram from Thursday, October 24.
The 11th edition of the fair is being organised at the Peninsula Chittagong Hotel by the Bangladesh Monitor, a premier travel fortnightly of the country. Online travel agency Buy Tickets is the title sponsor of the event, says a press release.
Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation AJM Nasir Uddin will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest, while Mahbubul Alam, president, Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) will be present as the special guest at the inaugural ceremony to be held on Thursday morning.
Over twenty organisations including US-Bangla Airlines, Regent Airways, Air Arabia, Ocean Paradise Hotel, Bangkok Hospital, Bumrungrad Hospital, Malaysia Tourism, Asian Healthcare, Gotrip, Cosmos Holidays and other tourism related service providers from home and abroad are participating in the Chittagong Travel Mart this year.
Visitors will be able to avail special discounts on air tickets to domestic and international destinations, hotel and resort accommodations, tour packages etc. during the fair.
Chittagong Travel Mart will remain open for the visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm everyday from October 24 to 26—Thursday to Saturday.
Participating organisations will offer attractive prizes including air tickets to the winners of raffle draw to be held everyday.
