Tamabil Land Port to be inaugurated Friday

Much-awaited Tamabil Land Port along Gowainghat border area in Sylhet district will be inaugurated on Friday aiming to expand business activities with Bhutan and Indian states Tripura, Nagaland, Assam.

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan will inaugurate the port while Finance Minister AMA Muhith will present as the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony, a news agency reported.

On May 8, 2015, Shajahan Khan laid the foundation of this land port.
