Some 106,987 motorcycles were registered with Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in the first three months of the current calendar year.
Of them, 23,755 motorcycles were based in Dhaka, the transport regulator data revealed.
The number of motorcycle registration in 2017 was 326,550 while in 2018 it was 395,603, the data showed.
