Lankan Alliance Finance Limited (LAFL), a subsidiary of Peoples’ Bank - the largest state owned bank of Sri Lanka, recently signed a loan agreement with Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra (Padakhep) at LAFL’s head office in Dhaka.
Under this agreement, Padakhep will get long-term finance of Tk 100 million to support its SME clients, says a press release received on Saturday.
Chief Operating Officer of LAFL Kazi Nasim Ahmed and Executive Director of Padakhep Md Saleh Bin Sums signed the deal on behalf of their respective institutions.
The signing ceremony was also attended by the Head of SME of LAFL Md Sayful Islam, Finance & Accounts Manager of Padakhep Md Samsuzzaman and other senior executives.
