Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) has donated BDT 50 million to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund to help fight the outbreak of coronavirus.
The bank handed over the money through Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) on Monday.
"EBL believes this donation will help implement the steps taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to combat the coronavirus pandemic in Bangladesh," a statement said.
