Crown Cement Group recently signed an agreement with China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corporation Ltd. at The Westin hotel in Dhaka.
Under the deal, Crown Cement Group will supply cement to SASEC Road Connectivity Project-II (WP-10).
SASEC or South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation Road Connectivity Project-II is an initiative to upgrade around 190km of road from Elenga to Rangpur to a four-lane highway via Hatikumrul for improving road communication between the capital and 16 northern districts.
Engr. A. Majid Chowdhury, Advisor of Crown Cement Group, and Mr. Zhang Zhong Wei, Project Manager of China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corporation Ltd., signed the deal on behalf of their respective organizations in presence of Chief Executive Officer of Crown Cement Group Md. Mukter Hossain Talukder, FCA. Among others, Head of Marketing and Sales of Crown CementMr. Shaibal Saha were also present.
