The ‘Business Leaders’ Carnival’ will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city on September 14, 2019 (Saturday).
The carnival will be jointly arranged by Society for Leadership Skills Development (SLSD) and AN AFFAIRS, said the organisers at a media briefing at the National Press Club in the city on Thursday.
Founder President and CEO of SLSD Professor Moinuddin Chowdhury and AN AFFAIRS CEO Kazi Fahrin Al Nasif attended the programme.
Speaker of the parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will attend the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest along with Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Atiqul Islam as the guest of honour. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will address the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
The carnival aims at five goals – spreading business knowledge through networks and educational entertainment, encouraging women leadership in business, sparking innovation among the next generation business leaders, making the business community more aware of corporate social responsibility (CSR), and preparing the business community to address the upcoming Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
