The Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has recommended a 10 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2023, subject to approval of the 41st Annual General Meeting of the Bank.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the board of directors on Wednesday with its Chairman Ahsanul Alam in the chair, according to a media release.
Tanveer Ahmad, Vice Chairman along with other Directors, Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director and CEO and J Q M Habibullah, FCS, Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary of the bank attended the meeting.
The meeting also decided to hold the 41st Annual General Meeting of the Bank on June 25, 2024, Tuesday, the release says.
The record date for the entitlement of dividend has been fixed on May 16, 2024.
The meeting also adopted unaudited financial statements for the first quarter ended on March 31, 2024, along with other issues, the release adds.
