THE sports-loving people of the world are now enjoying two mega football tournaments simultaneously, the Copa America Cup and the Euro Cup 2016. This time UEFA cup 2016 is being held in France with 24 nations participating. Sixteen teams will qualify for the final round.
Defending champions Spain will fight tooth and nail to defend their trophy but France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Portugal and England will be fighting hard to clinch the title. The social media are abuzz with football nowadays. Football is still very popular in our country and we see excitement spilling over whenever a famous international tournament takes place. I am sure mega football tournaments like Copa and European cup will encourage our young generation to play football and earn greater laurels for the country.
