EUROPEAN cup football is now at its quarterfinal stage and eight nations are competing to book their tickets for the last eight. Football loving people are enjoying every game and lending their support for their favourite teams. Defending champion Spain will be watching European football from home. Poland, Portugal, Wales, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, and Iceland are the teams which have kept their euro football dream alive. Many football lovers of Bangladesh are still in mourning over Argentina's defeat in Copa America cup final against Chile and the retirement of Argentina's super star Lionel Messi. England bowed out of the tournament with a defeat against Iceland. It has been termed as a big upset in the European football history. It is very difficult to predict who will win the European cup this time, but determined Germany and host France has the best chances of winning this time. Germany is the most successful nation in the European football as they won three times and three times they lost in the finals. I hope to see some thrilling and exciting matches in the European football before the curtains are down.
