NBR likely to extend deadline for income tax return submission

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is likely to extend the deadline for return submission by individual taxpayers.

The deadline for submitting returns was scheduled to expire today (Monday).

Sources said the board may extend the time frame by one month.
