Dhaka Central Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organised a client get together and a discussion titled “Compliance of Shariah in the Banking Operations” recently at Karwan Bazar Branch of the Bank.
Professor Md. Nazmul Hassan, Ph.D, Chairman of the Bank was present in the programme as Chief Guest. Mohammad Gias Uddin Talukder, Member, Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank was present as Chief Discussant.
Presided over by Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Dhaka Central Zone, the program was addressed by Md. Shamsuddoha, Senior Vice President of Shariah Secretariat of the Bank.
The speakers discussed duties and responsibilities of bankers and customers. Clients, businesspersons and employees of the Bank attended the programme, said a statement.
