Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) and Fintech Innovations International, UAE have signed an agreement recently under which EBL customers will be able to buy and sell trade assets faster and in a more secured manner at competitive price, using the TradeAssets, a blockchain technology-based online platform.
Ahmed Shaheen, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking of Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) and Lakshmanan Sankaran, Chairman and CEO of Fintech Innovations International, UAE inked the documents.
Md. Obaidul Islam, Head of Financial Institutions and OBU of EBL; Sumit K Roy, President and CMO, Azizunnessa Huq, Executive Director of Fintech Innovations were present among, others on the occasion, said a statement.
