A two-day event titled 'DCCI Agro Tech Expo' begins Thursday (May 3) in the city, said a statement issued by DCCI.
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) supported by USAID's Agriculture Value Chain (AVC) Project organised the event at International Convention City Bashundhara, Kuril, Dhaka.
Minister for Agriculture Begum Matia Chowdhury, MP will inaugurate the Expo while Secretary of Ministry of Science and Technology Md. Anwar Hossain will be present as Special Guest.
Various agro entrepreneurs, agro-processors, modern agro machinery importers, exporters, financial institutions, researchers will take part in the expo.
The event will bring the agro-producers close to agro technologists.
DCCI Agro Tech will remain open for all from 10 am to 08:00 pm free of cost.
