Bangladesh's total number of mobile phone subscribers reached 154.1 million at the end of August, up from 152.5 million in July, according to data from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), reports www.telecompaper.com
Grameenphone lead with 70.70 million, up from 70.02 million in July.
GP is followed by Robi Axiata with 46.13 million, up from 45.33 million in the previous month.
Banglalink ended August with 33.46 million customers, up slightly from 33.40 million in July, and Teletalk had 3.87 million, a small increase from 3.80 million the previous month.
