Playing Naim and Ebadot might be a good idea for the Tigers

Due to plenty of injury problems and uncertainties, the first XI of Bangladesh is not clear enough. So it is to be seen what they finally opt for.

However, opening and seam bowling positions are most uncertain. The think tank would have to go through quite a hefty brainstorming session to sort this out.

It might look surprising, but Naim Sheikh and Ebadot Hossain can be two genuine options for these two slots.

Fazalhaq Farooqi tested the Sri Lankan batters with his swing in the opening match. Naveen-Ul-Haq did the same.

In the 2nd match, none of the top orders of either team could have any breather. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Naseem Shah never gave an inch to them.

This suggests that the condition provides a lot for the bowlers who can generate swings with the new ball.

Among the seamers of Bangladesh in the squad, nobody can do it better than Ebadot, thanks to his continuous improvements in the last few months.

It might seem weird as Ebadot was thought to be our long-term red-ball cricketer, and his inclusion in the white-ball irritates some people.

But since he is with the team, why not use him properly?

Naim Sheikh's case is not as concrete as Ebadot's. However, from the two games, it seemed that the bowlers had more purchases from the pitch, and it was not a high-scoring one.

Therefore, 140-150 might be an excellent winning total.

You need a flashy batter to score 170-180, where Naim Sheikh is not even close. But to score 140-150, you need someone to anchor.

Again, his inclusion has bothered the fans. But, once he is included, the team management should consider maximising wealth.

Considering the facts, it would not be the worst of ideas to play Naim and Ebadot in the first XI.
