Shallow quake jolts south of Argentina’s Ushuaia

A shallow earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck on Monday south of the resort town of Ushuaia in Argentina, the United States Geological Survey said.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the quake, which hit 324 km (201 miles) south of Ushuaia, on the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego, at a depth of 10 km (6 miles), says the Reuters.
