Two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured in a road accident on Mayor Mohammad Hanif flyover at Dholaipar area of Old Dhaka early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Mehedi Hasan Rifat, 19, and Jahangir Hossain, 20. Injured Rabbi is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said DMCH police out-post in-charge Bachchu Mia.
The motorbike skidded off the road and overturned on the flyover around 5:30am, leaving the three bikers injured when they were returning to the capital from Mawa in Munshiganj, he said quoting the injured.
Jahangir succumbed to his injuries at Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital while Mehedi died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), reports UNB.
