Three construction workers have died after falling from a high-rise building in Dhanmondi area of Dhaka.
According to bdnews24.com, the victims have been identified as Md Saidul, 35, Md Mokhles, 20, and Md Monirul, 45.
Dhanmondi Police Station Inspector Parvez Islam said the mishap occurred at an under-construction building on road no. 5 next to the Central Hospital around 4:15pm on Friday.
Parvez said the three fell from the ropes of the wooden platform on the 12th floor of the under-construction building.
Co-workers took Saidul to the Central Hospital and Mokhles and Monirul to Dhaka Medical College Hospital but the doctors pronounced them brought dead, the inspector said.
The building authorities were not immediately available for comments.
