Deputy Chief of Mission of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka Chen Wei on Monday said the 'strategic partnership' between Bangladesh and China is 'growing' benefitting the people of the two countries.
He said there is growing cooperation in all areas of relations between the two countries, reports UNB.
The diplomat was addressing an iftar event hosted for the members of Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) at a city restaurant.
Expressing satisfaction over media's role in growing relations, Chen Wei said media friends from Bangladesh have made immense contributions to Bangladesh-China relations.
He said Ramadan is also an opportunity to celebrate 'peace and love' and wished a lasting friendship between the people of the two countries.
DCAB President Rezaul Karim Lotus also spoke on the occasion.
