Seven Bangladeshi young girls returned home through Benapole Check Post on Monday evening after serving one and half years jail in an Indian prison.

Border Security Force (BSF) of India handed them over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at around 6:00pm, UNB reports.

Abul Kasem, in-charge of BGB-21 Check Post in Benapole, said the youths, hailing from Narail district, entered India two years back without valid documents through Jashore border point in search of good jobs.

BSF arrested them from inside Indian Territory and handed them over to local police who later produced them before a court.
