Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers throughout the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9:00am on Sunday.
Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places, said a Met office bulletin.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalgonj, Noakhali, Rajshahi, and Pabna and it may abate at some places, UNB reported citing the Met Office.
Day temperature may fall slightly while night temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over the country, the bulletin added.
