Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Friday arrested alleged drug peddler and recovered 11,600 Yaba tablets from his possession fin the city.
“ A team of the RAB recovered 11,600 yaba tablets and arrested a member of the Inter-district drug traffickers group near Jamuna Future Park in the city at 7am,” said Senior ASP M Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, assistant director of legal and media section of the RAB.
The arrestee was identified as M Nazmul Alam, 32.
The RAB also recovered a mobile phone and Taka 6,830 cash from his possession.
