Prime Minister Hasina exchanges Eid greetings with cross sections of people

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has exchanged Eid greetings and pleasantries with the cross sections of people at her official residence Ganobhaban in the capital.

People of Bangladesh are observing Holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of Muslims, on Wednesday.

Sheikh Hasina, also the President of the Bangladesh Awami League, first exchanged Eid greetings with the people of all ages and all walks of life, and professions, including party leaders and workers, poets, litterateurs, writers, journalists, teachers and
intellectuals from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Ganobhaban.

Later, she exchanged greetings and pleasantries with judges, the cabinet secretary, the chiefs of the three services, foreign diplomats, senior secretaries and secretaries and other civil and military officials whose status is equivalent to secretaries from 11:00am at the Ganobhabon.

Earlier, the prime minister gave an Eid message for the country people on the eve of the Eid-ul-Azha.
