Police recovered two bodies of four-year-old girls from ground floor of a seven storey building in Shahjalal road area in Dhaka city’s Demra on Monday night.
The victims were identified as Nursat, 4, daughter of Palash, and Dola Akhter, 4, daughter of Faridul of the area.
On information, police recovered the bodies from the ground floor of the building, said Siddiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Demra Police Station, according to a UNB report.
It is assumed that the girls were tortured and strangled to death as injuries found in different parts of the bodies, the OC added.
