A police cell dubbed ‘IGP Complaint Cell’ introduced by the Bangladesh Police has decided to keep it open round the clock in the wake of cops’ unlawful involvement in various activities.
People have been urged to lodge complaints with the cell against any unprofessional and unethical acts by the police personnel by making calls to mobile numbers 01769693535 or 01769693536 and sending emails to [email protected], said an official release.
Complaints can also be filed in writing through courier services, it added.
The cell will operate under the supervision of a high-ranking police official, reports UNB.
