Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed deep shock at the death of Amalesh Sen, one of the members of Swadhin Bangla Football Team.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said that the winner of National Sports Award Amalesh Sen, former captain of Abahani and the assistant coach of the same team, played an important role in creating public opinions during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971, reports UNB.
She expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
