Ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers of new cabinet took oath on Monday following Awami League's massive victory in the 11th national election.
24 ministers, 19 state ministers and three deputy ministers took at a ceremony at Bangabhaban.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina also took oath as Prime Minister for the 3rd consecutive term.
President Abdul Hamid administered the oath to the Prime Minister at 3:40 pm while to ministers at 3:46 pm, to state ministers at 3:53 pm and to deputy ministers at 3:57 pm at Bangabhaban, reports UNB.
Through the oath taking of new ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers, the country gets a cabinet with all members from the AL after 1973 while Sheikh Hasina became the Prime Minister for the record fourth time.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam conducted the oath-taking ceremony.
The official gazette over the new cabinet will be published anytime soon.
With the publication of the gazette, the outgoing cabinet will be abolished, the cabinet secretary earlier said.
On Thursday, President Abdul Hamid invited Awami League President Sheikh Hasina to form the new government.
PM's Portfolios
According to the list of the cabinet members, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will keep the portfolios for Cabinet Division, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
