Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Badalgachi, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Kurigram and Chuadanga and it may continue and intensify for few days, according to a met office release on Wednesday.
Light to moderate fog may form at some places over the country from late night to Thursday morning while weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky across the country, it added.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged during this time, reports BSS.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 29.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chattogram while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.
