Indian daily features rare photos of Bangabandhu

The Indian Express on Monday published some rare photographs of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with Indian personalities.

The Indian daily published the photographs marking the Independence Day of Bangladesh, reports UNB.

In the three years after holding the prime ministerial post, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman became a celebrated icon in India as well, admired for his moving speeches and charismatic personality, the newspaper writes at the beginning of the photo feature.
