Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested four suspects and recovered gold, cash and laptop which were stolen from a flat in the capital’s Kalabagan Central market road area on March 31.
They were arrested from the city’s Dhanmandi, Hazaribagh and Lalbagh areas after police conducted raids on Thursday.
The arrestees are -- Hasan alias Jisan, a mastermind, his two associates Awower Hossain, van puller Abdul Alim and stolen gold buyer Likhan Sheikh.
Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Shamsul Arefin and also in charge of the DMP detective's southern division Ramna Zonal Team led the operation.
A case was filed in this connection on April 2.
