#Wateryouwearing, a campaign targeted to raise awareness and funds in the trajectory of access to safe drinking water has been launched in Dhaka city.

Footsteps Foundation, a youth based social enterprise, has partnered up with clothing line Eastern Influence to launch the campaign for addressing one of our society's most vital challenge - ensuring safe drinking water for all.

By wearing T-shirts with simple statement, individuals are not only creating awareness about the lack of clean water accessibility in Bangladesh but also providing water for people who are in need of it the most, according to a press release.

A flagship project of Footstep Foundation 'Project Trishna' has been working on ensuring access to safe drinking water in underdeveloped communities by setting up and maintaining water purification systems to reduce the risk of water contamination in destitute areas, UNB reports.

The project Trishna that aims to ensure water as a basic human rights for everyone in Bangladesh by 2030, has set up water systems in public areas and underprivileged schools all over Dhaka with over 10,000 people depending on the project for safe water accessibility.

The #wateryouwearing campaign acts as an exposure and crowdfunding platform to help improve the project and Tk 500 collected from every sale of T-shirt is directly invested into Project Trishna.

The fund will be dedicated towards developing accessible safe water opportunity.
