A fire broke out at Bandura Bazar and its adjacent bus stand in Dhaka’s Nawabganj upazila on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, some buses were torched at the bus stand, said fire officials.
Confirming the matter, an official of Fire Service Media Cell said they received the news about the fire incident at around 10:27am.
Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters told The Financial Express that some 8 to 10 buses were parked at the bus stand.
We are yet to receive the report fully, she said, adding that four firefighting units are trying to douse the blaze.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
No casualties have been reported so far.
