Bangladesh, Egypt discuss Rohingya issue in FOC meeting

The first Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) meeting between Bangladesh and Egypt was held at the state guest house 'Meghna' in Dhaka city on Sunday.

Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque and Egypt Assistant Foreign Minister Khaled Tharwat led their respective sides in the meeting, a UNB report says.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral, regional and global issues including the Rohingya one.
