Police arrested 32 leaders and activists of BNP, including a former councillor, from Mohakhali’s Sena Kalyan Sangstha Tower on Friday night.
Former ward councilor of no 20 ward of Banani unit BNP Abul Kalam Azad was among the arrestees, said Md Hafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kafrul Police Station, reports UNB.
Police arrested them on a charge of “hatching an anti-government conspiracy”, he said.
They were also accused in different criminal cases, he added.
