Some 149 new books were introduced at Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela on Tuesday, the twelfth day of the month-long book fair.
With the latest additions, a total of 1,650 books were released until February 12, said a Bangla Academy press release.
Among the published books, most of them are literary works.
Like previous years, the book fair is holding seminars, discussions and cultural events every day.
The fair remains open to visitors from 3:00pm to 9:00pm on working days and from 11:00am to 9:00pm on weekly holidays.
It will remain open from 8:00am to 8:30pm on February 21 (International Mother Language Day).
Wi-Fi service is available at the fair premises. The book fair is free from smoking and use of polythene.
