Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting the University’s Bangladesh student recruitment plan.

• Working with our partners to investigate opportunities for future development of our presence in the region.

• Supporting marketing and events/stakeholder engagement activity, as required.

• Supporting our alumni relations strategy within the region.

• Supporting existing institutional partnerships within Sri Lanka and working with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the creation of new ones.

Role-specific knowledge and experience: 

• 2-3 years of relevant Higher education industry experience

• Please Note: Candidates who do not have the relevant work experience from a UK higher education student recruitment sector (i:e student counselling, education business development, UKHE stakeholder management) will not be shortlisted for the role.

• The post will involve significant international and domestic travel. The post-holder will have to demonstrate considerable initiative as they will be expected to represent the University at various events throughout their contract.

Number of hours: A notional minimum of 45 hours per week with the requirement to work evenings and some weekends during peak times and for fairs, with approximately 20 weeks of travel a year.
