A two-member delegation of International Education of Emporia State University, USA, called on Dhaka University (DU) VC Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Tuesday.
Dr Mark Daly, executive director of the university, led the team, while another team member was Prof Dr Mohammed Sajedur Rahman of the same university.
Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Assistant Prof of the Department of Management Information Systems Dr Md Rakibul Hoque were present at the meeting held at the latter’s office of the DU.
They agreed to sign a MoU on conducting interdisciplinary research to achieve mutual benefits.
They have discussed on mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes in the various fields by the both institutes.
They have also discussed the possibility of exchanging the faculty members between the two universities at the meeting.
