Law Minister Anisul Huq has said that development of the country is not possible without educating its women and that is why Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has emphasised on women education.
"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given much emphasis on women education to implement the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The government is providing stipends to female students in schools and colleges. Status of women in the country is now stronger than ever before," he said while addressing the annual sports competition and reception of meritorious students at Kuti Girls High School in Kasba, Brahmanbaria on Saturday.
Presided over by school governing body chairman Saidur Rahman Swapan, the function was attended by Comilla-3 lawmaker Yusuf Abdullah Harun. source – BSS
