BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) observed its 6th anniversary on Wednesday.
A large number of faculty members, students and officials of the university celebrated the day at the main campus amid much enthusiasm and festivity, said a media statement on Thursday.
Muzaffar U Siddique, Founder Chairman, BOT, BUFT inaugurated the programme cutting a cake while Prof Dr Nizamuddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of the university attended the function with Prof Dr Engineer Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor of BUFT, in the chair.
Later, a cultural programme was also held marking the day.
