Police detain 40 in Satkhira anti-narcotics drive

Police arrested 40 people, including seven suspected drug traders, in an anti-narcotics drive at different parts of Satkhira from Sunday night to Monday morning.
Of them, six each were arrested from Sadar upazila, Kolaroa upazila and Shyamnagar upazilas, five from Tala upazila, seven from Kaliganj upazila, five from Ashashuni upazila, three from Debhata upazila, and two from Patkelghata upazila, said Ajam Khan, Inspector of Satkhira district special branch.
Police also seized 249 bottles of Phensedyl, according to a new agency report.
