Man dies as truck plunges in Bogura

A man was killed when a truck plunged into a roadside ditch on Dhanut-Sherpur road at Boalkandi in Bogura’s Sherpur upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as truck helper Aminul Islam, 35, son of Rakibuddin of Ronobirbala in the upazila.
The accident took place at around 10:00am when the brick-laden truck fell into the ditch after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the helper dead on the spot, said Sub-inspector of Sherpur Police Station Atiqur Rahman.
On information, police recovered the body.
