DB arrest female UP member with yaba in Magura

Detective Branch (DB) of police have arrested a female member of Union Parishad (UP) in Mohammadpur upazila of Magura district along with 175 pieces of Yaba tablets.
The UP member of Ward No 3 in Babukhali union of the upazila Shayamoli Khatun, 40, was arrested on Monday afternoon, reports UNB.
Being tipped off, a team of DB police challenged Shayamoli and recovered the Yaba tablets searching her bag, said Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station.
The DB team also recovered fake seal, pad and fake papers from her bag, said the OC.
Two cases were filed in this connection.
