A bus driver has been killed and at least 16 passengers suffered injuries following a head-on collision between a Meherpur-bound bus and a covered van on Bonpara- Hatikumrul road in Hansmara area of Gurudashpur upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Azad, reports UNB.
J M Shamsun Nur, Officer-in-Charge of Bonpara Highway Police station, said the accident left the bus driver dead on the spot and 16 passengers injured.
