Yarn warehouse catches fire in Chattogram

A fire broke out at a yarn warehouse at Chaktai in Chattogram on Friday afternoon.

Jasim Uddin, deputy assistant director of Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire originated at the godown near Purabi Cinema Hall around 5pm, reports UNB.

On information, five fire fighting units with 14 vehicles from different fire stations rushed in to douse the fire, he said.
